The PAR GROUP is an organization designed to promote knowledge of the Rules  of Golf and coordinate the activities of Golf Rules Officials in Central Texas.  The group was started by Nub Donaldson, Bob Bender, and Tom Kirksey of Austin, Texas in 2007.

We have about two dozen members who have taken the time to study the rules of golf, attend one or more USGA rules schools, and who volunteer their time to officiate in local, state, and national tournaments. PAR GROUP members also serve or have served on the Board of the Texas Golf Association as well as a variety of USGA committees and have officiated at a number of USGA national championships.
